Designing with the Elements
The tools and raw materials of landscape architecture come from the elements of life.
The energies of water, fire, air and earth define our work.
Our work is also subjected to these elements. The powers of rain, sun, wind,
heat and cold transform the garden landscapes we create.
We accept that the beauty we make today will be remade by the elements over many seasons.
We’d like to think our work is permanent. It isn’t. But the integrity we build into it—that’s forever.
