We hope this message finds you safe and well during this unprecedented time. In spite of the feelings of uncertainty many of us are experiencing, we hope, with springs return, you and your family are finding a sense of hope and renewal. One place that we can experience peace of mind is outdoors in the beauty of nature. It is our wish that you are able to spend time outdoors to experience that beauty.
Fortunately, the governor has included our industry among those considered essential. So, we are pleased to be able to continue serving you. We are proceeding with business—but not as usual. Following recommendations from the CDC and the State government, we have implemented a number of precautions to keep our people safe and healthy while performing their duties. These include, but are not limited to:
- Operations. Our office staff is working from home. Most staff meetings and client consultations are now conducted via video conference.
- Landscape Design. Onsite landscape design build consultations by appointment are still an option with strict safety protocols in place. We are also offering virtual consultations as a safe, reasonable alternative especially for those clients whose projects are already underway.
- Landscape Construction and Garden Management. All crew members are wearing masks. In addition, we’ve reduced the size of our production crews to two people per truck in the smaller trucks and three in the larger ones so they can maintain safe distancing. Each crew has disinfectant and wipes to clean all surfaces touched in their vehicles every time they get in them. Tools and equipment are also wiped down after each use wherever hands come into contact with them.
Please know that we stand united in our commitment to carrying on the good work of designing, building and maintaining outdoor living environments. As the situation evolves, we are prepared to take whatever additional steps are needed to protect you and maintain the safety and good health of our employees.
We value each and every one of you, and wish you and your family good health and safety.
