A naturalistic waterfall cascades through a stone wall into a rectangular pool.  Colorful plantings are frames by a beautifully edged lawn area and accented with huge boulders.  These are just a few of the elements Surrounds designed into this backyard living environment. 

The homeowners wanted a complete outdoor environment to include a fireplace, cooking area, arbor, patios, pool/spa area, and a playground.  Adding a stone waterfall to the pool gave character to what would have been an ordinary looking pool.

The stone fireplace with hearth makes the covered patio area the perfect place for entertaining.  It compliments the bar area which is complete with a built-in grill and sink.  The look of the flagstone slabs was enhanced with dwarf grasses planted in between.

Whether you are strolling out to the pool on the paver walkway or over to the grill using the flagstone slab pathway, you will see splashes of color, be amazed at the lush greenery, and just delighted when you find a statue tucked in a planting bed or a frog leaping from the waterfalls.
