Everything about this project was catered to year round outdoor living.  The project encompassed the creation of a naturalistic environment centered around a lagoon style pool with a huge rocky waterfall.  Around the pool we worked in a huge stone wood burning fireplace, a massive cedar arbor, multiple levels of sitting areas including a secluded spot for a pre-fab hot-tub.    

The owners of this beautiful estate were open to creative ideas and are thrilled with the result.  The landscaping is combination of formal Boxwood hedges, Roses and herbs along with wild plantings of ornamental grasses and other flowering perennials.  The landscaping provides interest all through the season from the early spring all the way into the late fall and with the substantial evergreen base it is beautiful through the winter as well.  

The masssive fireplace is a wonderful place to sit right alongside the crashing waterfalls from the pool.  With the grill so close by its is a virtual outdoor entertaining area. 

All of the stonework was designed to blend in with the house.  We combined Pennsylvania Flagstone, Hanover Tumbled Pavers and Carderock building stone to make the composition.
